Germany was forced to admit that they themselves started the war.
-> then because of this acceptance had no say in the terms of the treaty which contained many terms against Germany.

•Germany to accept full responsibility for the war (War Guilt Clause)
•Alsace-Lorraine returned to France
•Poland was given a strip of German land to access the sea
•All colonies surrendered to the League of Nations
•100,000 man limit on the army
•No navy or airforce- unable to defend themselves
•Loss of merchant fleet- could not make trade/money
•Demilitarized the Rhineland- economic heart of Germany where all the big companies are-when reparations couldn't be payed France just came and took control of all those companies.
•Unification of Austria and Germany was forbidden-

Had Germany not been forced into accepting all the reparations ect… would that have stopped the build up of anger that formed within Germany due to the loss of materials/ land ect….?
