- Formed the Peace Corps called VISTA which was part of his “war on poverty” and also part of his “Great Society”

SUMMARY :
Lyndon Johnson came to be the 36th President of the United States after being the vice-president to kennedy- who got assassinated in 63. He had ideas for "great society" programs- health care, education. He also wanted more equality; there, ended the literary test.
